International Solar Energy Society - Finnish section

ISES Finland a national section of the International ISES organization. The purpose of the ISES is to promote the use of renewable energy sources, especially solar energy. It publishes a montly scientific journal Solar Energy .

The Finnish section was established in 1995, and it now has 30 members.

As one of its activities, the section participated in the arrangements of an international conference North Sun '97, held in Otaniemi, Espoo, Finland, in the summer of 1997.

ISES Finland is also organizing annual National Solar Energy Day together with Solar Technology Association of Finland
