Basic DIY wind turbine & solar panel electric kit.



This kit will give upto 4KWs of electricity a day

The kit includes the following items.

1 x 200 watt wind turbine (12v or 24v ) complete with tower , regulator , guide lines and a small 200 watt inverter. Tower is 4 meters high, you will need some space to fit the turbine approx 6 sq mtrs . It also makes its power at a low wind speed 3 mtrs per second start speed and 7 mtrs per second rated speed. The turbine is a 230v ac and will require 2-3 people to fit it .

4 x 55 watt solar panels complete with some basic wiring. These panels are iso 2001 and tuv approved ,If you require more solar panels please phone or email for a great price. If you require a frame please inform us beforehand and if we can agree on a price for making them .

A Schuco 20 amp charge controller with display and various functions for different types of batteries

1 x 1Kw (1000 watt inverter) Modified sine wave converter ( not suitable for desk top computers which need a pure sine wave inverter ) Pure sine wave inverters available on request.

Please remember that solar panels are designed to last and still produce power for over 25 years , the same goes for the wind turbine people are now starting to realise that you can make your own power at home and that the price of power from the grid is going to continue to rise over and above inflation .

The price includes all wiring for the panels . You will need at least 600 amps of batteries for the 12v or 800 amps of batteries for 24v ( we can supply batteries separately ) and is a relatively cheap introduction to stand alone electricity generation, you could get a working electricity supply in less than a day .

The wind turbine is a 24v turbine and is quite noisy !! This kit will not take away the need for mains electricity for a large house but could work well with a holiday home or for powering some of your home . It has the advantage of being Modular and can be expanded as & when you want it . If you are interested and in Spain we will also be putting an advert for the same kit with Batteries and including fitting on Ebay shortly .
