China to Offer 120,000 RMB Subsidy to BYD M6
Jul. 7th 2010 (GoChinaAuto), BYD launched its E6 electric taxi this May and since then the new EV was running well on the road. After China published its subsidy policies for electric cars, BYD E6 again became a hot topic in China auto field. According to both central government and Shenzhen City government subsidy plan, BYD E6 can offer total 120,000 RMB subsidy to its customers. If we said price for this BYD EV was 300,000 RMB the actual retail price would be as low as 180,000 RBM.
BYD E6 consumes 21.5 kwh per 100 miles which means 1/3 to 1/4 of the fuel expense. Max power for the electric engine is 75Kw and within 10 seconds the car can be accelerated to 140Km/h.
At the moment Shenzhen city has build up 2 special charging station and 136 charging pillar all over the city. Both BYD E6 and BYD F3DM can use these facilities. According to BYD’s introduction, within 15 Mins a BYD E6 can be charged to 80% of full capacity and the expense is about 13 RM...
