Mr. Stromberger joined the European Car Manufacturers Association in 2008 where he is especially responsible for CO2 relevant topics such as passenger car CO2 legislation, CO2 and light commercial vehicles, electric vehicles, etc. He graduated in industrial engineering at the University of Vienna. From 1998 to 2007, he ran the family own car dealership where he has experienced the close relation to the end consumer. In August 2003, he joined the car industry and became a referee for traffic and environment at BMW Group in Munich. At BMW he especially dealt with alternative fuels (particularly hydrogen), general environmental issues, CO2-strategy, Integrated Approach.

Nick has worked closely with business planning functions, providing strategy guidance and market development support throughout his career. In his previous role he was Product Planning Director at TRW with global responsibility for their £3 billion automotive steering business providing strategy guidance for their electric steering products.Nick has 13 years of automotive experience preceded by 23 years in Aerospace and Defence at British Aerospace and Lucas. As well as holding senior management positions in these corporations, Nick has been MD of EMM Computers, a technology start up company which exceeded $ 1 million turnover in its first year of operation.

Wil (of Dutch nationality) was trained as a research psychologist (graduated with distinction). After having worked six years for a marketing research agency, he joined the Royal Dutch Touring and Automobile Club (ANWB). During his 28 years with the organization, he worked in personnel development, and the management of marketing, was director of the ANWB’s helicopter emergency medical services and most recently director of international relations.

Nuša Urbancic is T&E's specialist on fuels and electrification. She joined T&E in 2008 from Greenpeace’s European unit where she worked on the renewable energy campaign. She has also worked as a journalist and translator in Ljubljana and at the French economic mission to Slovenia. Transport & Environment is an independent environmental NGO, whose mission is to promote transport policy based on the principles of sustainable development.
