GoChinaAuto.com-Recently it is learned that China Geely Auto has started a new marketing program to corporate with Alibaba.com to sell cars on internet. The project will be officially started in 2011.
The first two test models will be Geely A00 Panda hatchback with the price of 40,000 to 60,000 CNY and a Geely Emgrand model with the price of 75,000 to 110,000 CNY. And Geely Auto plans to sell around 1,000 car each month on internet.
In order to distinguish with offline sales, Geely Auto will launch special Geely models for the sale on internet. After consumers buy Geely models on internet they also can get maintenance and repair in the local real Geely 4S shops.
Geely will launch a special Geely Panda hatchback on internet which is different with Geely Panda hatchback in real Geely 4S shops and has two colors, is called as Color Cat. Meanwhile, there are also some differences about equipments and prices and the price is more expensive.
Geely also will take the opportunity to try online order, and online consumers can choose color, interior trim, seats and wheel etc. This personalized order may be attractive for those people who like to do shopping on internet.
