HOW TO TAKE THE MARKET'S CONTROL. 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago Feedback:
i realized a small flaw in this....true you should support your local shops. and support brands who dont only care for profits....
i remember a south park episode i saw about wallmart, where the towns people became addicted to the low prices. and all the local shops closed down...they began to fight the wallmart and later burned it down...then they all started shopping at a local shop...and that shop became the next wallmart....and they had to burn that one down....and the cycle began again....

(example)a farmer in South America, a small business delivery company and a local Canadian grocery/produce store fruits, the farmer is poor and his farm is not very big, the delivery company is poor and hardly ever gets any business, the local shop in Canada gets no business either.....

this is what im thinking. if everyone begins to buy from just local shops 2 things might happen-
1. A boom in shopping hits the store in canada! all the extra customers and profits the shop owner is making go into transportation of more of the stuff you buy--from South America to Canada , now they will be shipped faster and better preserved (the delivery company now can take better care of their trucks, planes and most importantly the parcel, the farmer gets a good pay and can support more land, more produces, buys big machines to help him...take care of his family...the fruits become a little cheaper because the store owner found a way to balance his profits and give you MORE products, the farmer and him + the transporters have a good business together now...they get what they need, you get what you need...they invest in solar panels and wind turbines...buy electric cars, electric heaters, coolers happy life....

2. the store owner saves up all this extra money he is getting, he starts to put other stuff like a bakery in his store...then he puts in a place you can buy tools...so on so forth...to where you don't need to go anywhere else to buy your things, he makes them cheap and shops around the neighborhood start to close because they have no customers....no competition now he rises prices and puts the money into making other stores in other neighborhoods. the store owner begins his own delivery company so he doesnt have to pay anyone else except his workers, he pays the farm hardly any money...or he sends in his own people to start farms over there so he doesnt have to pay anyone except his workers...there you have it...a monopoly

option 2 would be the smart thing to do, option 1 would be the right thing to do.i dont know much about economics but i do like history...and from what i read and what i learned from playing monopoly (you can learn alot from seemingly harmless games...) capitalism in its worst i would say...stores become like drug dealers trying to control turf...get the customers, drive out competitions and rise your prices...lay back and watch the money come in

with option 1 it looks like a win-win-win-win situation but what if the farmer starts a chain of farms from the money he is also getting or the transporter? i guess this is how monopolies form, farmer buys land, makes larger farms sells for cheap drives out other farmers now raises prices....its difficult to do this unless everyone decides they wont take advantage of the business they get option 1 i like VERY much because in the end you the whole world profits from it, where option 2 looks horrible....
