Built for the U.S. Military, New Generators Will Make WePOWER Wind Energy Turbines 2.5 Times More Effective

TORRANCE, Calif. and EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- WePOWER LLC, a developer of clean energy solutions around the world, today announced an agreement to become the exclusive distributor of Aura Systems Inc.'s (AUSI.OB) AuraGen family of generators for WePOWER's wind turbine applications. This strategic partnership will dramatically enhance the effectiveness of WePOWER's next generation wind turbine technology.

Aura Systems (AUSI.OB) has a long history of technical innovations in generating power, most notably in designing powerful generators which can withstand harsh environments for the U.S. Department of Defense, NATO and the U.S.C.G. Aura generators are in use in vehicles in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The AuraGen generators are axial flux induction machines, which create 2.5 times the amount of energy per unit volume than other solutions. The weight of AuraGen's moving materials are approximately one third less than other generators and therefore require less torque to generate the rated power. This unique design makes the AuraGen more efficient.

This newly launched platform enables the placement of advertising on WePOWER's turbines which, in turn, generate clean wind energy to power corresponding advertising billboards through the firm's patented application.
