Your manufacturer of highly efficient solar thermal systems

Every day the sun delivers much more energy than we can consume. Sunbathing makes us aware of how intense this energy can be. Consolar makes good use of the heat from the sun: we build solar collectors which soak up the heat and tank systems to store the heat to make it available when the sun is not shining: SUN, DAY and NIGHT.

For almost 15 years the core business of Consolar Solare Energie Systeme GmbH has been the development and manufacturing of solar systems that are particulary efficient. Our solar installations are designed for people who want the highest levels of efficency and durability from their products.

July 08 - extra £1000 grants in Gloucestershire
Gloucestershire County Council and the six Gloucestershire District Councils are committed to tackling climate change, and have developed Climate Change Strategies. Gloucestershire has entered into a Local Area Agreement with targets to reduce carbon dioxide emissions through domestic energy saving and an increase in the uptake of renewable energy installations.

The Gloucestershire Renewable Energy Grant scheme and advice service is an integral part of this Local Area Agreement. Gloucestershire County Council and District Councils have together contributed £110,000 for domestic renewable energy grants in the financial year to 31st March 2009. This will fund 110 domestic renewable energy installation grants at £1,000 each, allocated on a first come first served basis, with a minimum of 10 installations ring-fenced for each District.

Note - Stroud District Council is managing their own grant scheme, through an extension of the WISE Homes grants. Residents of Stroud District should apply directly by telephoning 01453 754464 or e-mailing
