The launch of the new racer was performed Polytechnic School of Lausanne in Switzerland in presence of Jean Todt, the President of the FIA.

The GreenGT 300kW is fitted with twin rear-mounted motors can now produce a peak 408 horsepower (300 kW), representing a 50 percent improvement over the previous mode.

The car is expected to reach a top speed of 290 km/h.

The energy storage system has been heavily modified. It now holds 31 kilowatt-hours within a more powerful, liquid-cooled battery that sits in a flameproof, crash-absorbing structure made from aerospace composites and equipped with a fire-suppression system, a must for road racing purposes.

The GreenGT 300kW should be tested extensively during this winter.
